Let's Get Acquainted
This blog emerged from my experiences as a woman in engineering, navigating life as a minority in my community, and embracing my passions for food, friendships, fashion and style, traveling, and diverse cultures. Currently, I reside in St. Paul, Minnesota with my husband and our two dogs, Waffles and Mackenzie.
I have spent my entire life breaking stereotypes, and I am excited to share my story to inspire others to embrace their true selves and pursue their passions and dreams. With a Masters in Chemical Engineering, I have worked in manufacturing plants and lived in rural towns, yet I have never strayed from my identity as a girly girl who is passionate about empowering women through beautiful outfits and luxurious styles.
My mom began subscribing my sister and me to Vogue when I was around 7-8 years old, sparking my dream of being as fearless and fierce as the models gracing its pages. From a young age, I developed a love for makeup, designer clothing, shoes, and handbags, and I'm thrilled to share my collection with you, along with tips on maintenance, best times and places to buy, promotional deals, reviews on iconic staples, where to find trusted pre-loved pieces, sizing guides, and more.
Travel experiences have shaped my worldview, and I consider myself a global citizen—after all, we can’t love one another without first understanding each other! I cherish learning about different cultures and how they express themselves through food, fashion and style, traditions, and societal norms.
My sister and I have collaborated with the same stylist from Neiman Marcus for over 20 years (she even helped us purchase our first Louis Vuittons as teenagers when NM still sold LV!). We've also partnered with Nordstrom, Saks, and Louis Vuitton for nearly a decade, giving us the inside scoop on the latest collections, price fluctuations, and emerging trends. I’m excited to share their insights with you too! Our travels have taken us from Europe to Asia and everywhere in between, and I can't wait to share my travel tips and the best places to shop and eat!
